My Awesome Civilisation🏝️

Hey bloggers, this term we have been building our own civilization. We got 6 different options of what biome we think we could survive in and even create a civilization. The different options were Ice Plains, Wetlands, Desert, Savvanah, Forest, and Rainforest And Tropical Islands I chose the Tropical Islands because I thought it would be one of the easiest biomes to create a civilization in. The Tropical Islands have a lot of handy resources, there are meats, fruits, and even coconuts. One of the ways that we could use our resources and design was using Minecraft, we had heaps of time on Minecraft when we finished Minecraft we completed and inserted pictures of Minecraft on our slides.

3D Printing

Hi bloggers, it's book week at Marshland School. Over the past couple of weeks, we have been doing inquiry. For inquiry, I was put in 3D printing, We had to 3D print something to help the community or make our everyday life easier.  My friend Sophie and I chose a water helper this helps parents so they don't have to lift their kids up to the sink. This was made using Tinkercad. This is suitable for kids 4 - 7.

3D Printing

For Inquiry, We Have 3 Different Rotations. The One That I Am Doing At The Moment Is 3D Printing. It Is So Fun, My Group Of 4 ( Sophie, Dylan, Troy And Me )  And We Have Just Came Up With A Problem That We All Have... It Is Getting All Our Drinks Equal!!! So Our Invention Is Something That You Can Fill Up And It Has Little Tubes And It Equally Fills All The Cups, So That Means No More Arguing About Who Has More!!!! So Far Its Been Really Fun! Next Week I Think We Are Going To 3D Print Is!!!!

Postponed Peaceful Walk

Hi, For Writing This week we had to Choose an Animal or Creature. I chose a family of ants. At the start It wasn't too hard but then I couldn't really think of a way to end the story. I chose ants because they are tiny and the forest is huge. The forest Is like 10,000 times their size and I thought that would be cool. What Animal Would You Choose? Answer in the comments.

Superb & Slow Sloths

Hi, This week I have made an Informational Report on Sloths. The reason I chose Sloths is that it has been my favorite animal since I was 5!!! I even have a Sloth themed room. Ballistic Bouncy Egg

Hi, Today is the day! You might be wondering what I am talking about but… It should be pretty obvious due to the title. So today is the day I am taking my bouncy egg out of the vinegar.  I have left it in the vinegar for 52 hours to be exact. In about the first 3 minutes I was already eager to take it out but I had to wait another 51 hours and 57 minutes. at the start, it was really hard to not be tempted to take it out but then I kinda forgot about it. Hi, this is the first Quarantine math slide that I have posted on my blog. we had the week to complete this math slide. at the start, it didn't take that long but then it got a bit harder. Hi, This is my end of the week SOL. Since it is autumn this is a suitable question for the time. On the first 2 questions, it was easy and didn't take long but on the 3rd question, it took a while to list most of the names of the evergreen trees. I got my information for The Tree Center. Today for home learning, writing. there were 7 pictures with links attached to them. we had to chose out of the 7. I chose Reshaping the world.

For my third learning task for reading tasks, I did teeth. the link is on the second page. the first story I rushed through and it didn't turn out well so for the next story I took my time and I really liked it.

Hi, I'm Olivia. For Inquiry, we have been doing research on our ancestry. Some of my ancestors are from England. One of my ancestors was the king's guard. I haven't put his name in yet but I am working on it so it is not finished.

My Marvelous Art

Hi, I'm Olivia. For Inquiry we did art. There were three options including Zentangle, Koro art & Funky Portraits. I chose zentangle so what you had to do was get a letter.  I used the first letter of my first name. Then you fill-up the letter with heaps of different little designs. The first bit I rushed through and it turned out pretty well. Then I took my time on the bottom half it took a while but it turned out pretty decent.
